The Simmons Baltimore is a pocket spring mattress with 3 comfort layers on the springs. The first layer consists of 4 cm of thermo-regulating memory foam. The structure of this foam ensures that the mattress does not become too warm. The second layer consists of 4 cm of extra-soft memory foam. This layer is extra soft, allowing the mattress to conform to your body shape more easily. The third layer is Elivéa® foam. A foam specially developed by Simmons for optimal support. By combining these layers, you get a mattress that provides excellent support without the disadvantages of memory foam. This means that the mattress ventilates well but also adapts well to the shape of the body. This mattress is highly recommended for people prone to pressure sores, as it provides optimal pressure distribution.

Simmons is the inventor of the pocket spring and stands strong when it comes to quality. Their special springs move perfectly with the shape of the body. The mattress features integrated handles to make it easier to rotate, but it has a top and a bottom. The head can be turned towards the feet, but it is best to keep the top facing up.

Steel frame

Simmons mattresses feature a steel band frame that holds the pocket springs together. This gives the mattress a firm structure and allows the springs to extend to the edge of the mattress. This is called a side-to-side pocket spring mattress. Additionally, the steel band frame is beneficial for the lifespan of the mattress.
